After a1 lending the schools here she completed her education in a pri vate school in Tarboro. In April. 1906, she was married to Henry Herbert Cowen who died in April j 1950. She was a member of the Bap tist church for more than forty years and was regular in attend ance upon its services and its work and support down through the years Mrs. Cowen was de voted to her home, her family and friends.
